Don Bosco Close out Regular Season with Dominant Victory Over St. Peter's

The Don Bosco Ironmen showcased their dominance in a resounding 42-7 victory against St. Peter's Marauders to end the regular season. The Ironmen's explosive performance on both sides of the ball solidified their reputation as one of the powerhouses in New Jersey high school football as they gear up for a tough playoff run.

The Ironmen set the tone early, with Dante DeLuca breaking through for a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, signaling the beginning of a long night for St. Peter's. The momentum continued in the second quarter as Isaiah Alvarez and Hunter Ditrano added to the tally, bringing the score to a daunting 21-0 by halftime.

The onslaught didn't stop after the break. Alvarez caught an 11-yard pass from quarterback Deven Sisler to start the third quarter, further extending the lead. Although St. Peter's found a brief moment of solace with a touchdown pass from Tyler Bell to Andres Perez, any hope of a comeback was quickly dashed. Ditrano’s fumble recovery in the end zone and Jason Bocio’s 2-yard run in the fourth quarter capped off the offensive display by Don Bosco.

Deven Sisler stood out with his precision, completing 16 of 19 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns, displaying leadership and poise throughout the game.
Isaiah Alvarez was a dual threat, contributing significantly on the ground and through the air, tallying two touchdowns—one rushing and one receiving.

Tyler Bell and the St. Peter's offense were stifled by Don Bosco's aggressive defense, managing only 63 passing yards and struggling to find rhythm. The Marauders' lone touchdown in the third quarter was the only highlight in what was otherwise a tough outing.

This victory not only reinforces Don Bosco Prep’s status as a top contender but also serves as a statement to the rest of the league. The Ironmen displayed a balanced attack that could adapt and capitalize on any weakness, paired with a defense that rarely bends that will be a key factor in their upcoming playoff run.
