In a highly anticipated rematch in the Olympic conference, the Camden Panthers demonstrated why they're considered one of New Jersey's top basketball teams, defeating Paul VI for the second time this season. The final score at the buzzer was 68-49, reflecting Camden's dominance on the court.

From the get-go, Camden set the pace. They opened the game with an impressive display of agility and coordination, quickly pulling ahead with a first-quarter lead of 21-13. Torrey Brooks Jr., one of the Panthers' recent transfers, was pivotal in this early surge, scoring 9 of his total 15 points in the first quarter alone. His performance not only showcased his scoring ability but also his versatility on defense, gathering two steals and nine assists over the course of the game. Camden's momentum didn't waver in the second quarter. They extended their lead by consistently converting defense into scoring opportunities, ending the half with a commanding 43-20 lead.

The second half saw Paul VI struggling to find their rhythm against a relentless Camden defense. David Munro and Emmanuel Joe-Samuel were instrumental during this stretch, with Munro scoring and rebounding effectively, and Joe-Samuel facilitating plays that kept Camden's offense flowing smoothly. In the final quarter, despite a slight resurgence from Paul VI, Camden's earlier efforts proved too much for the Eagles to overcome. The Panthers continued to dominate, both offensively and defensively, leading to a substantial 68-49 victory.

The Panthers continue to be one of the hottest teams in the state and this conference wins puts them back atop of the Olympic conference. With counties and playoffs looming in the future, this Camden team has the chance to take both brackets by storm and finish the job after a shaky start to the season.
