Caedyn Ricciardi dominates at Beast of the East

Caedyn Ricciardi, a standout wrestler from St. Peter's Prep and currently ranked #5 in the nation at 138 lbs, delivered a phenomenal performance at the 2024 Beast of the East tournament. Demonstrating technical brilliance, grit, and dominance throughout the bracket, Ricciardi emerged as the tournament champion, further cementing his status as one of the top competitors in the country.

Ricciardi opened his campaign with a commanding victory over his first opponent, securing a fall in just 59 seconds. This quick and decisive win set the tone for what would be a dominant tournament run.

In the round of 16, Ricciardi faced Blake Boyer from Kennard-Dale and delivered another impressive performance. In the finals, Ricciardi faced against fellow national rankee, Carson Walsh, who falls at #9 at 138-lbs. Just when you thought Ricciardi's run couldn't get any better, he delivered a definitive statement. With a fall at 3:31, Ricciardi left no doubt about his dominance in the 138-lb weight class. This championship victory capped off an extraordinary tournament run, with Ricciardi showcasing his ability to rise to the occasion under pressure.
