The No. 1 ranked Bergen Catholic Crusaders extended their win streak with a decisive 34-0 victory against the No. 10 ranked Paramus Catholic Paladins. The game was a clear display of Bergen Catholic's superior play, shutting out Paramus Catholic and leaving no doubt about their top-tier status in New Jersey high school football.

Bergen Catholic set the tone early with quarterback Dominic Campanile connecting with John Morris for a 13-yard touchdown pass, followed by a successful kick from Guytano Bartolomeo. Shortly after, Najee Calhoun bulldozed his way through for a 3-yard touchdown run. The Crusaders ramped up their offensive onslaught in the second quarter with Quincy Porter becoming a standout performer. Porter caught a 4-yard touchdown pass and later dazzled the crowd with a 54-yard touchdown reception, both from Campanile, pushing the score to 27-0 by halftime.

Najee Calhoun found the end zone again with a 2-yard run in the third quarter, further extending the lead to 34-0 after Bartolomeo’s successful extra point. The Crusaders’ defense continued to stifle any offensive attempts by Paramus Catholic, maintaining the shutout.

The Crusaders add another win to the record and continue their season dominance. With 5 wins on the year, Bergen Catholic picks up their 20th win in a row over New Jersey opponents and show no signs of ending that streak. They meet with another top ranked team in Delbarton next week as Paramus Catholic looks to bounce back against Red Bank Catholic.
